Nabeeha : IEYDA urges FG, KWSG to find lasting solution to tackle insecurity 

The Ilorin Emirate Youth made the call in a statement jointly issue today in Ilorin by the National President of the Association, Alhaji Abdullahi Salaudeen and the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Alhaji Uthman Jagunma shortly after a special prayer organized to seek Allah’s intervention for the release of the remain children of Al-Kadiriyah’s family Okekere and others on captives still in custody of bandits.

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association under the auspices of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari has called on federal and state governments as matter of urgency to address the issue of kidnapping and killing of innocent people in the country.

The Ilorin Emirate Youth made the call in a statement jointly issue today in Ilorin by the National President of the Association, Alhaji Abdullahi Salaudeen and the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Alhaji Uthman Jagunma shortly after a special prayer organized to seek Allah’s intervention for the release of the remain children of Al-Kadiriyah’s family Okekere and others on captives still in custody of bandits.

The Ilorin Emirate Youth condemned the killing of the innocent citizens by the bandits, adding this is high time for government to inward to find lasting solution to the menace rather than calling the families to contribute for the release of their relatives.

The IEYDA also implored security agents to improve efforts in the fight against insecurity in the country to curb the menace, adding those that involve are the future of the country.

The Ilorin Emirate Youth then appealed to people of Ilorin Emirate, Kwara and Nigerians to support the government with prayers for the betterment of the country, noting that our nation are losing young able people through the menace.

The Ilorin Emirate Youth then sympathized with Al-Kadiriyah’s family Okekere over the death of Habeebah Al-Kadiriyah and families of those killed by the bandits in the country.
