Mohbad was not poisoned in our custody – NDLEA Spokesperson
Babafemi clarified that MohBad was not among the Marlian Music artists arrested by the agency in 2022, which rules out the possibility of him being poisoned in their custody.

The NDLEA Spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, has refuted allegations of poisoning involving the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as MohBad, during their custody.
Babafemi clarified that MohBad was not among the Marlian Music artists arrested by the agency in 2022, which rules out the possibility of him being poisoned in their custody.
He shared a link to an online platform detailing the arrest of six individuals, making it clear that these arrests were unrelated to MohBad.
Babafemi stated that these claims have been twisted by purveyors of fake news and urged them to face legal consequences when caught.
This statement comes after a video of MohBad surfaced, where he alleged harassment and being given a white substance to consume while in custody.
