In the inquiry conducted by the coroner in Ikorodu into the death of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, the singer’s Disc Jockey, Ajisegiri Ayobami, who was present with him before his demise, provided a testimony.

According to Ayobami, MohBad began to experience vomiting shortly after receiving an injection administered by a nurse.

The DJ recounted that on the previous day, they had attended a show in Ikorodu. On their way back, their Prado Jeep was blocked, and during an altercation with a friend, Primeboy, MohBad sustained a minor injury. While the injury seemed insignificant initially, by midnight, it had swollen considerably.

In an attempt to seek medical help, they contacted MohBad’s personal nurse, who was unavailable at the time. Another team member arranged for a nurse named Spending to administer an injection.

Ayobami noted that MohBad was in good health before the injection but fell asleep afterward.

Later, Ayobami noticed water on the floor in MohBad’s room and went to fetch a mop to clean it. At this point, his wife called him urgently from upstairs. When he returned, he found MohBad collapsed on the floor, having vomited the Indomie Noodles he had eaten, with goosebumps on his body.

According to Ayobami, they were advised to acquire medication and, as they were on their way to the pharmacy, he received a call informing him to return. When he returned, they were trying to transport MohBad to the hospital in a neighbor’s car, but he appeared lifeless with closed eyes and falling hands.

Amidst traffic, Ayobami went ahead on foot to the hospital, inquiring about an ambulance. Unfortunately, when they arrived at the hospital, MohBad was declared dead, and his lifeless body had been transported on a bike.
