The Management of Kwara State University, Malete (KWASU) has declared Monday May 29, 2023 as work free to commemorate the inauguration 16th elected President of Nigeria.
The declaration was made in a statement issued by the Registrar of the university, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee.
According to to the statement, The University Management enjoins all members of the University Community to use the period to pray for a better Nigeria.
The Statement reads;
Dear All,
This is to inform the University Community that, the Federal Government has declared Monday May 29, 2023 as work free.
This is to enable workers commemorate the inauguration of the 16th democratically elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In view of this, all staff are directed to observe the holiday.
It is important to note that Staff on essential services are to be at their duty posts, while the University will consider giving days off as appropriate.
The University Management enjoins all members of the University Community to use the period to pray for a better Nigeria.”
