A tumultuous crowd on Tuesday stormed the Ilorin Eid praying ground where the immediate Past Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki observed his Eid-el-Kabir prayer.
Right from his residence to the Eid praying ground, the crowd gathered on the two sides of the street waving at Saraki’s convoy.
The Former Kwara Governor wore white coloured Agbada and blue cap to observed the two rakat prayer with the People of Ilorin.
The prayer, which started around 9 a.m, was led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin Emirate, Sheik Muhammad Bashir Imam Solihu.
After Saraki had observed his Eid-el-Kabir prayers, the crowd on the two sides of the road leading to his residence appeared to have doubled more than when he was heading to the Eid praying ground.
While some of the crowd were waving at the convoy as the Kwara-born Politician moved back to his residence, others were struggling to capture him and the convoy on their phones.
