Maryam Aladi Attributes Success to Gov Abdulrazaq, Promises Development in Ilorin South

The member representing Ilorin South State Constituency in Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Maryam Yusuf Aladi has attributed her sterling performance to conducive atmosphere created by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

Hon Maryam Yusuf Aladi disclosed this on Thursday during Interactive Session with Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) in her Constituency Office, Ilorin.

The Deputy Chief Whip said she has constructed one block of three classrooms, offers scholarship to over 500 students in primary/secondary schools and other community interventions from her personal purse. 

She also promised to attract development to every part of Ilorin South including rural communities.

Her words: “I will ensure we touch people’s lives positively by ameliorating their suffering. We assisted some communities in Akanbi ward I & II to address water supply challenge and connect transformer to powerline after 10 years of neglect. 

“I visited Joromoh Osin community with honorable Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon Usman Lade with the view of fixing water works supplying them water. I am sure something positive is happening in the community now.” 

Speaking on her Widows Support Scheme, Aladi more widows across 11wards in local government area would benefit from next phase of the program.

The Entrepreneur turned Politician applauded ASKOMP members for creating job opportunities and sustainable means of employment.

Earlier in his remarks, ASKOMP Chairman, Salihu Shola Taofeek said the Association will continue to uphold ethics of journalism and give every stakeholder fair hearing in their reports.
