The management team representing the late artist Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, has affirmed their unwavering commitment to continue the battle for the recovery of the singer’s unpaid royalties, which were being held by his former record label, Marlian Music.

In a statement posted on MohBad’s official Instagram page on Sunday, it was conveyed that, “Even prior to his untimely passing, MohBad had initiated legal proceedings to reclaim the rights to his songs and the royalties owed to him, which had been wrongfully retained by Marlian Music.

The statement further asserted, “We are determined to persist in our efforts to regain control of his music catalogue and the outstanding royalties.

This pursuit is not just for MohBad’s sake but also for the well-being of those he left behind, notably his son, Liam Imole. We are seeking #JusticeforMohbad and warmly welcome any support in our endeavor to secure his catalogue from Marlian Music. This endeavor symbolizes the justice that MohBad tirelessly sought.”

MohBad officially parted ways with Marlian Music in 2022, citing unpaid royalties dating back to 2019. Sadly, he passed away at the age of 27 on Tuesday.”
