The two clubs have already agreed on a deal worth around £30 million for the 30-year-old defender.
The transfer is expected to be finalized in time for Maguire to play in West Ham’s opening match against Bournemouth.
Although Maguire will be taking a significant wage cut, United will make the payment to help compensate for that. Currently earning £190,000 per week at Old Trafford, Maguire will now earn £120,000 per week at West Ham, making him the joint-third highest earner at the club, alongside Lucas Paqueta and Danny Ings.
