Manchester United and Brentford each scored in added time, resulting in a 1-1 draw in their English Premier League (EPL) match at the Community Stadium on Saturday evening.

Despite the hosts’ dominance throughout both halves, they were unable to break through until Kristoffer Ajer’s goal canceled out Mason Mount’s earlier strike for the visitors.

Brentford had several chances to score in the first half and continued to press in the second, with Ivan Toney’s effort disallowed for offside.

Despite losing key defenders Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof to injury, Man United took the lead through Mount in the sixth minute of added time.

However, Brentford quickly responded as Ajer equalized with their 31st shot of the night. The draw halted Brentford’s streak of consecutive defeats and saw Man United drop points in the top-four race.

With 48 points from 29 matches, Erik ten Hag’s side sits sixth in the EPL standings, 11 points adrift of a Champions League spot.

Earlier matches saw Newcastle United edge out West Ham United in a thrilling 4-3 victory, while Tottenham rallied from a goal down to defeat Luton 2-1. Chelsea, on the other hand, were held to a 2-2 draw by ten-man Brentford.
