Man City Secures Historic Fourth Consecutive EPL Title

Manchester City clinched the 2023/24 English Premier League title by defeating West Ham 3-1 at the Etihad on the final day of the season.
The Citizens secured the championship by finishing just two points ahead of Arsenal, who won 2-1 against Everton at the Emirates Stadium.
This latest triumph marks Man City’s fourth consecutive EPL title, a record-setting feat under Pep Guardiola. It also represents the club’s 10th league title and the sixth since Guardiola took charge in 2016.
A brace from Phil Foden and a second-half goal by Rodri ensured Man City finished the season with 91 points, surpassing Arsenal’s 89.
The title race went down to the wire, with both teams performing strongly until the final day. Arsenal came from behind against Everton, but their efforts were insufficient to overtake the relentless champions.
Idrissa Gueye initially put Everton ahead with a deflected free-kick, but Arsenal equalized three minutes later through Takehiro Tomiyasu, set up by Martin Odegaard. Kai Havertz sealed the comeback for Mikel Arteta’s side with a late goal.
Elsewhere, Jurgen Klopp bid farewell to Anfield with a 2-0 victory over ten-man Wolverhampton Wanderers. Chelsea secured their return to European competition next season with a 2-1 win over Bournemouth, while Manchester United, finishing eighth, will aim for an FA Cup win to play in Europe after a 2-0 victory at Brighton.
Luton, Burnley, and Sheffield United were relegated following Luton’s 4-2 home defeat to Fulham.
