LP rejects tribunal judgement
On Wednesday, the tribunal rejected the numerous allegations brought forward by Obi and the LP contesting Tinubu’s victory.
The Labour Party (LP) has expressed its disagreement with the decision of the presidential election petition tribunal, which dismissed the petitions made by its candidate, Peter Obi, against President Bola Tinubu’s win in the February 25th polls.
On Wednesday, the tribunal rejected the numerous allegations brought forward by Obi and the LP contesting Tinubu’s victory.
In a statement, LP’s national publicity secretary, Obiora Ifoh, expressed the party’s belief that the judgement did not align with justice, and it failed to reflect both the legal framework and the people’s wishes.
