Liverpool knocked out of FA Cup

Championship strugglers Plymouth Argyle pulled off a stunning FA Cup upset, defeating Premier League leaders Liverpool 1-0 in their fourth-round clash at Home Park on Sunday.
Liverpool, who made several changes to their starting lineup, dominated possession but struggled to break down a determined Plymouth side. The decisive moment came in the 57th minute when Ryan Hardie converted a penalty after Harvey Elliott was penalized for handball.
Despite relentless pressure from Liverpool in the closing stages, including chances for Darwin Núñez and goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, Plymouth held firm to secure a historic victory—only their second win in three months.
This shock result marks the first time in seven years that a Premier League table-topping side has been eliminated from the FA Cup by a lower-league opponent.
