LG elections to hold soon – Kwara Gov

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has revealed that the state is gearing up for upcoming local government elections.
This announcement came after the Governor signed the 2024 Appropriations and local government amendment bill into law on Friday.
According to him, “We are looking forward to holding the local government elections very shortly.”
He thanked the House for its legislative roles on the Local Government Elections bill, which he noted now paves the way for the conduct of the elections.
