Lewis-Skelly Pens New Arsenal Contract After Breakout Season

Arsenal’s rising star Myles Lewis-Skelly has agreed to a new long-term contract with the club.
The 18-year-old, whose current deal runs until 2026, has been in negotiations with the Gunners in recent months and has now committed his future to the club.
Lewis-Skelly enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last season, making 39 appearances across all competitions. Though originally a midfielder from Arsenal’s academy, he impressed in a new role at left-back, making his debut against Manchester City in September.
His standout performances earned him a call-up to the senior England squad in March. He made history by scoring on his full debut in a 2-0 win over Albania at Wembley, becoming the youngest player ever to do so.
Earlier this week, Lewis-Skelly was nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award, alongside Morgan Rogers, Liam Delap, Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez, and teammate Ethan Nwaneri.
