Lens Surprises Arsenal with 2-1 Champions League Win
Gabriel Jesus gave Arsenal an early lead, but Adrien Thomasson quickly equalized for Lens.

Arsenal suffered their first defeat of the season on Tuesday when Lens, in a thrilling Champions League match in France, came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory, thanks to a superb second-half goal by Elye Wahi.
Gabriel Jesus gave Arsenal an early lead, but Adrien Thomasson quickly equalized for Lens.
Arsenal faced additional setbacks, including Bukayo Saka’s injury. Wahi, the 20-year-old Lens striker, became the hero with his 69th-minute strike, leading Lens to a memorable win.
This result propelled Lens to the top of Champions League Group B with four points, one ahead of Arsenal. In another group match, PSV Eindhoven and Sevilla drew 2-2.
While Arsenal returned to the Champions League after a six-year absence, Lens made their European elite club competition comeback after more than two decades.
