Simon Lalong, former Governor of Plateau State, has officially affirmed his resignation from the position of Minister of Labour and Employment under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Lalong, now confirmed as the duly elected Senator for Plateau South Senatorial District by the Court of Appeal, submitted a letter to President Tinubu, expressing that his decision to resign was reached after careful consideration and consultations with key stakeholders and constituents.
He emphasized his commitment to contributing to the government’s Renewed Hope agenda and the overall development of democracy from his new role in the Senate.
