KWHA Member, Owolabi Rasaq doles cash empowerment to constituents

Hon. Owolabi Rasaq, the representative for Share/Oke-ode constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, has organized a cash support program for 300 people in his constituency.
The beneficiaries received the funds during the third Owoo annual Carnival, held on Friday in Babanloma, a community in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The cash distribution aims to help local businesses and households.
During the event, Hon. Owolabi Rasaq expressed his understanding of the challenges faced by his constituents and his hope that the financial aid would help them thrive.
“This is just a small step towards a prosperous community, but it’s a step in the right direction,” he said.
He added, “This is just the beginning. Our dedication to your well-being is strong, and we will keep looking for ways to empower you and provide the resources you need to succeed.”
“We are planning a major empowerment program that will create even more opportunities for growth and prosperity,” he emphasized.
He warned that, “Any politician who misuses public funds for personal gain instead of serving the people will face severe consequences.”
Hon. Owolabi also praised Kwara State governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, for his commitment to creating a better society for the people of the state.
He noted that the governor has consistently shown great leadership and a sense of responsibility in managing the state’s affairs.
The event was attended by Alhaja Tahibat Ayinde, former commissioner for Women Affairs in Kwara State, former Special Assistant on Women Empowerment to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Alhaja Bolane Ismail (Iya Lamule), Alhaji Lateef Kadri Oko-Ode, former Ifelodun Local Government APC Party Chairman, Alhaji Muftau Akanbi Oke, representative of Hon. Tolani Mhuktar Shagaya, and other elders from Ifelodun.
