KWASU gets new Governing Council

AbdulRahman AbdRazaq, Kwara State Governor has appointed a new Governing Council for the state-owned Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s spokesperson, Rafiu Ajakaye kn Wednesday.
According to the statement, Former Vice Chancellor of University of Ilorin Prof Abdul Ganiyu Ambali is the chairman of the council, which has five others as members.
The other members are Professor Ibrahim Jawondo; Professor Aishetu Abdulkadir; Barrister Teju Oguntoye; Abdullahi Biogera; and Daudu Funmilayo Maryam (host community and the youth constituency).
The appointments are to take immediate effect.
