KWASU Expels 175 Students

Kwara State University, Malete, has expelled 175 students for a range of offences, as announced in a statement by the Ag. Director of University Relations, Dr. Saeedat Aliyu.
The expulsion approvals followed recommendations from the Students’ Disciplinary Committee (SDC), which conducted sittings from October 2021 to March 2024.
The statement specified that the students were expelled for offences including examination malpractice, theft, using fake results for admission, assault, fraud, membership in unregistered associations, and possession of a firearm.
The university management emphasized its zero-tolerance policy towards indiscipline and its commitment to graduating students who are excellent in both character and learning.
