Kwara reps Member, Yahaya Seriki, Others Survive as Private jet crash-lands in Ibadan 

According to reports, the jet crash landed on Friday around 11 am at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport.

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara and the Chairman of KURSI Investment Limited, Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki, The member representing Ekiti, Irepodun, Isin and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency, Honourable Raheem Tunji Olowuyi and other distinguished Nigerians have survived after their private jet crash-landed in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

According to reports, the jet crash landed on Friday around 11 am at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport.

The jet with registration number, N580KR, missed the runway into the nearby bush.

Speaking about the incident, Honourable Raheem Tunji Olowuyi in a post via his official instagram page expressed gratitude, attributing the passengers safety to Allah’s intervention. 

He wrote; “ Alhamdulillah!

Just survived an air crash at Ibadan airport. The plane skipped the runway amid bush burning, in what could have been devastating; however, Allah’s intervention spared all 12 passengers.

Similarly, the Honourable Minister of Power was allegedly involved in an averted crash last month, and yesterday, one of my friend’s wives escaped a crash at the same airport.

This highlights the urgency for a thorough investigation and immediate rehabilitation of the airport. Safety is paramount.”
