In a letter dated November 24, 2023, addressed to the party’s Chairman, she cited personal reasons for her decision.
Oniyangi expressed gratitude to the party leadership and emphasized her commitment to the PDP despite stepping down from her role.
The party, acknowledging her resignation through a statement from its Publicity Secretary, Olusegun Olusola Adewara, accepted Oniyangi’s decision, attributing it to her relocation due to a new career opportunity outside the state.
The party affirmed her continued membership and appreciated her contributions, wishing her success in future endeavors.
