Kwara PDP Completes Submission of Forms to KWASIEC Ahead of LG Polls
The Kwara State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has fully complied with the Kwara State Local Government Electoral Laws (as amended 2024) and the guidelines set by the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWASIEC) for the September 21st, 2024 Local Government elections in the State.
The party made this announcement in a statement issued by its secretary, Abdullahi Kayode on Saturday.
“We are pleased to announce that we have submitted all 193 ward councilorship forms and 16 chairmanship forms for our candidates to KWASIEC on Friday, July 12th, 2024, before the 12 midnight deadline set by the Commission.
Our team, led by the State Secretary, Abdullahi Kayode, waited at the KWASIEC premises to ensure that all forms were duly submitted, demonstrating our party’s commitment to the electoral process and readiness for the forthcoming local government elections.
We commend our candidates for their hard work and resilience throughout this exercise. We now look forward to KWASIEC’s fulfillment of its commitment to conducting free, fair, and credible elections.” The statement concluded.
