Kwara Lawmaker, Shagaya pays Constituents JAMB fees
In a statement made available to newsmen through the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Basheer Luqman, Hon. Shagaya urged all eligible students to make themselves available for the opportunity.

Lawmaker representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya has commenced the handing over of free JAMB registration forms to 350 students in the constituency.
In a statement made available to newsmen through the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Basheer Luqman, Hon. Shagaya urged all eligible students to make themselves available for the opportunity. Added that, the decision to pay the registration fees was to encourage children of the poor, drawn from each ward of the Constituency, to attain higher education since education unarguably is the power and it is only with sound education that any individual can be independent-minded, acquire knowledge to break shackles of poverty as well as become self-reliant.

“The participants will be chosen from all wards within the constituency, and we reaffirmed our commitment to supporting the youth and women of our constituency through this initiative. This program is a testament to our dedication to improving educational opportunities and access to resources for all.
We are determined to change the narrative for the youth in our constituency and help them develop their skills and capacity. We are committed to providing training and resources to help them find meaningful employment and improve their quality of life. By investing in the youth, we are investing in the future of our community.
I encourage the students who will benefit from this program to use this opportunity to study hard and do their best on the JAMB exam. I also want to thank the parents and teachers who have been instrumental in developing these students into the capable and dedicated individuals they are today. In addition, I want to remind the students of the importance of financial stability, equity, self-reliance, and self-confidence, as these qualities will help them succeed in life”, the statement read.
