As the submission of completed expression of interest and nomination forms for aspirants seeking the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) closed Tuesday, Mall Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq was the only gubernatorial aspirants in Kwara state who collected and submitted the nomination forms.
Consequently, he has emerged unopposed in his bid for a second term of office on the platform of the party.
Even though Abdulrazaq may have technically clinched the APC ticket, He would, however, undergo other processes before he would be formally pronounced as candidate of the APC for the gubernatorial election in Kwara state.
Our correspondent reports that Abdulrazaq emerged unopposed alongside his counterpart, Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of lagos state.
As at the time of filing this report, Abdulrazaq is yet to show his forms and declare his intention to contest for second term.
