Kwara Govt Recruits Additional Doctors, Nurses to improve healthcare services
The state government recently recruited for various positions in the health sector to bridge the gaps created by attrition.
The Kwara State Hospital Management Board (KW-HMB) has on Thursday inducted newly employed medical personnel into the state’s civil service.

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq had directed fresh recruitment to fill the spaces created by retirement and resignation in the health sector.
The category of new health workers include medical doctors, pharmacists and nurses.
According to a statement by Zubair Abdulhafeez, Service Improvement Officer, KW-HMB, the new workers were trained by the SERVICOM Unit on quality assurance, improved service delivery, effective communication.
Other areas are code of conduct and public service rules.
The SERVICOM team urged the new hires to judiciously utilise the opportunity offered them by the Kwara State Government to improve health care services where they are posted to.
The new workers also appreciated the state government for the employment opportunity, pledging to do their best.
