Kwara APC Scribe, Isowo empowers Over 300 People with Cash

The Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Kwara State Chapter, Alhaji Mustapha Salman Isowo, has empowered over 300 people with cash gifts.

The beneficiaries, who were drawn from the Ilorin West Local Government Area of the state, received their cash during an event  tagged the “3rd Edition of the Isowo Cash Empowerment Program,” held in Ilorin on Saturday.

Speaking with newsmen during the event, Alhaji Isowo said that the initiative is aimed at giving back to the community and supporting the less privileged.

He also noted that the initiative was in support of Kwara Governor Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s efforts to alleviate poverty in the State.

He said, “This is the 3rd Edition of the empowerment programme. We are supporting over 300 less privileged people in our community. This is to support the effort of our amiable governor’s in alleviating poverty in the state”

Responding to questions about the upcoming state local government elections, Alhaji Isowo called on the people of the state to troop en masse to vote for the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

In their separate remarks, Ilorin West APC Chairman, Hon. Sulaiman Tejidini, and the General Manager of KWASSIP, Dr. Abdulwasiu Olayinka Tejidini, commended the organizer of the event for his kind gesture and urged the people of the state to continue supporting the Abdulrazaq-led administration.

Beneficiaries, in their separate interviews with our correspondent, expressed their profound appreciation to the Kwara APC Secretary and prayed to God Almighty to continue to guide him and make him succeed in all his endeavors.

The event was witnessed by the Member representing Ajikobi/Alanamu Constituency, Hon. Aishat Tundun Alanamu; APC Chairmanship Candidate for Ilorin West Local Government, Hon. Sheu Abdulrahman Babatunde Ladan; Ilorin West APC Chairman, Hon. Sulaiman Tejidini; Kwara Central APC Chairman, Alhaji Mahmood Turawa; and Alhaji Abdulrazzqq Jiddah (SA Special Duties to Kwara Governor), among others.
