Members of the Ruling, All Progressive Congress (APC) in Magaji Ngeri ward in Ilorin west Local Governments of Kwara State on Saturday 12 February 2022 turned out en mass for a solidarity rally in Support of Mall Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq re-election bid.
The party members marched through some streets in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State.
All political office holders from the area at both the state and local government levels participated in the rally that lasted for hours.
Hon. Muritala Kokorin, The Chairman of APC in Magaji Ngeri ward, said that the rally was staged to express the support of the people of the area to the leadership of Mall Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
He however pledged that the APC in Magaji are solidly behind Governor Abdulrazaq for his re-election bid in 2023.
In their separate remarks, Kwara APC Chieftain, Barr Kunle Suleiman, Honourable commissioner for housing and urban development, Amb Ibrahim Akaje, Commissioner for Tertiary education, Barr Senior Suleiman, SA Woman Empowerment to Kwara Governor, Hajia Aishat Bolanle (Iya Lamule) and the newly appointed SA Political (Kwara Central) to Kwara Governor, Prince Sulaiman Sai Kayi who also took part in the Rally, Commended Gov Abdulrazaq for efforts in developing the State, Pledged their unalloyed support ahead of the 2023 General Elections.
Shortly after the Rally, The Magaji Ngeri APC commissioned a billboard which have the inscriptions ” 2023 AA LEKAN SI”.
According to the Information obtained by Sho Pen online, The Billboard is one of the activities to support Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in the 2023 General Elections.
