Kanu Nwankwo’s Son Signs For Polish Club Górnik Polkowice

Sean Kanu, son of Nigerian football legend and former Super Eagles captain Nwankwo Kanu, has officially joined Polish third-tier side Górnik Polkowice, marking the beginning of his professional football career.
The 19-year-old’s transfer was announced by KS Dozamet Connector Nowa Sól, his previous Polish club, though details regarding the contract’s length and financial terms were not disclosed.
Sean’s mother, Amara Kanu, was present at the signing ceremony and took to social media to express her pride.
She wrote, “Congratulations, son, Sean Kanu. You have put in so much work and dedication to your craft, and I am so proud of you. More goals up in front.”
A product of Watford Academy in England, Sean Kanu left the club without making a senior appearance. He gained early recognition through his appearance in “Kanu Nwankwo and Sons,” a sequel to his father’s famous “Papilo” Peak Milk advertisement.
