Kano LG Chairman Appoints 60 Aides

The Chairman of Nasarawa Local Government Area in Kano State, Yusuf Imam, widely known as ‘Ogan Boye,’ has appointed 60 aides to serve in various capacities aimed at fostering growth and progress in the local government.

The appointments were confirmed in a letter signed by the Local Government Secretary, Ado Muhd Hotoro, dated January 6, 2024. The letter highlighted the chairman’s commitment to promoting effective governance and driving development within the LGA.

“Following the efforts of the Honourable Chairman of Nasarawa Local Government to advance the area’s development, I am pleased to convey the approval of the following individuals for various roles across different sectors and professions,” the statement read.

The newly appointed aides include 18 Special Reporters tasked with overseeing specific departments, markets, and primary healthcare centers within the local government. Other notable positions filled include Executive Assistant, Chief Details Affairs I and II, Chief Protocol Officer, Principal Personnel Secretary, and eight Director Generals.

The appointments, according to the letter, were made based on merit, dedication, honesty, and commitment, aligning with the chairman’s vision for impactful governance.

The statement further expressed confidence that the appointees would discharge their duties diligently, contributing significantly to the developmental goals of the local government.
