Kai Havertz speaks on tough start to life at Arsenal

Kai Havertz, the Arsenal forward, opened up about his challenging start in North London after transferring from Chelsea for a significant sum.

During a press conference in Wolfsburg before Germany’s friendly with Japan, Havertz acknowledged the difficulties he’s facing while trying to settle into his new team.

He remained composed despite criticism, recognizing that adapting to a new club can take time.

Despite not yet registering any goals or assists in his first four Premier League matches with Arsenal, manager Mikel Arteta has defended him, emphasizing his potential to score goals.

Arsenal currently has three wins and a draw in the season, and Havertz remains optimistic, given that he’s only been with the team for two months following his 75 million euro ($80 million) transfer from Chelsea, where he scored the winning goal in the 2021 Champions League final.
