JUST IN : Labour to hold Nationwide Protest Over Hardship in Nigeria
Joe Ajaero, the NLC president, made the declaration during an emergency session held at Labour House, Abuja, on Friday.

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) leadership has announced plans for a nationwide protest on February 27th and 28th.
Joe Ajaero, the NLC president, made the declaration during an emergency session held at Labour House, Abuja, on Friday.
The decision to protest comes after the expiration of a 14-day ultimatum issued to the Federal Government regarding widespread hardships across the country.
This ultimatum aimed to emphasize the need for reforms to alleviate the current challenges facing Nigerians.
The unions accuse the government of failing to implement agreements reached in October.
Ajaero expressed regret at the necessity of such actions but emphasized the ongoing neglect of citizens’ welfare and the significant hardships endured by Nigerian workers, leaving them with no alternative.
