The 56-year-old, who took charge in 2015, has secured six trophies with the Reds, including the 2020 Premier League and the previous year’s Champions League title.

Despite a contract extension in April 2022 meant to keep him at the club until 2026, Klopp expressed his deep affection for the team, city, and supporters but stated that his decision is rooted in the necessity to step back due to his waning energy levels.
