Joselu’s Late Goals Send Real Madrid to UCL Final
Joselu’s two late goals helped Real Madrid pull off a dramatic 2-1 comeback against Bayern Munich in the Champions League semifinals, sending them to their sixth final in 10 years with a 4-3 aggregate win.
Bayern took the lead through Alphonso Davies in the 68th minute, but Joselu equalized in the 88th minute after a fumble by Bayern’s goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer.
Just two minutes later, Joselu scored the winning goal from an Antonio Rudiger pass. Although initially ruled offside, VAR confirmed it was a valid goal, setting off celebrations at the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid will now face Borussia Dortmund at Wembley on 1 June in the Champions League final.
