JAMB releases 2024 UTME results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB’s registrar, announced the release at a press conference in Abuja. He stated that the results of 64,624 candidates are being withheld due to potential infractions and are under investigation.
This year, 1,989,668 candidates registered for the UTME, a 24.7% increase from 2023. Of those registered, 1,904,189 were present and verified, 2,899 were present but unverified, and 80,810 were absent.
Overall, JAMB is releasing the results of 1,842,464 candidates. The withheld results are being investigated for reasons including verification issues, procedural investigations, center-based investigations, and suspected exam misconduct.
