I’ve no plan to leave NNPP, Governor Yusuf tells Ganduje
This statement came in response to an invitation from APC national chairman Abdullahi Umar Ganduje urging him to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf affirmed on Friday, January 26, that he has no intentions of leaving the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), the platform on which he secured victory in the governorship polls.
This statement came in response to an invitation from APC national chairman Abdullahi Umar Ganduje urging him to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Despite the appeal during a party stakeholders’ meeting, Governor Yusuf, the sole NNPP governor in Nigeria, rejected Ganduje’s offer, emphasizing his commitment to his current party.
Meanwhile, Ganduje expressed optimism about attracting more political figures to the APC, including opposition governors and National Assembly members.
