Nyesom Wike, the federal capital territory (FCT) minister, has affirmed his joint efforts with President Bola Tinubu in bringing a sense of “renewed hope” to Nigerians.

When questioned about his status within the PDP during the interview, the former Rivers governor maintained his membership within the party.

He expressed his sense of alignment with working under Tinubu’s government, describing him as a figure with genuine intentions for the nation.

Wike emphasized that his focus is not on serving a particular party but on aiding the president, who has displayed confidence in him, to fulfill the promise of renewed hope. He underlined that he owes no one an apology for his actions.

When asked about his response if Tinubu were to be removed by the election tribunal, Wike expressed faith that his God wouldn’t permit such an outcome.

Confident in his beliefs, Wike reiterated his conviction that the path he followed during the 2023 elections upheld justice and fairness.
