The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, expressed his belief in his qualifications for the Nigerian presidency, asserting that he would embrace the opportunity if it arises.
In an exclusive interview with ARISE NEWS Anchor, Ojy Okpe, the governor discussed ongoing efforts in Osun State, emphasizing his commitment to its development.
Addressing future political ambitions, Adeleke stated, “I’m qualified to be the president of Nigeria, so why not? If God says it’s time, I’ll take care of my people. I’m not going to say no; anything can happen.”
He outlined palliative measures implemented to alleviate challenges in the state, including addressing inherited debts, paying salaries, and providing free medical care.
Adeleke highlighted initiatives in healthcare, road maintenance, and the development of tourism, culture, and entertainment.
He shared plans to tap into Osun State’s resources and emphasized a positive relationship with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing hope for improved conditions in the country.
