I’m bigger than the headies – Portable Says in new song
This declaration comes in the wake of the organizers excluding him from the 16th edition of the awards due to his alleged threats against fellow nominees.

Portable, the Nigerian street singer, known as Habeeb Okikiola, recently expressed his belief that he surpasses the importance of the Headies Awards.
This declaration comes in the wake of the organizers excluding him from the 16th edition of the awards due to his alleged threats against fellow nominees.
After the 16th Headies Awards concluded in Atlanta, USA, Portable shared a teaser of an unreleased song where he openly criticizes the award organizers.
In the viral video, he confidently asserts that his stature eclipses that of the Headies, going so far as to mention that even the late American hip-hop icon, Tupac Shakur, didn’t secure a Grammy.
He further stated, “Nobody let me down. I disappointed myself by assuming everyone supported me as much as I supported them… I reject negative energy. Stars don’t beg to shine. Life is like Portable, unwavering.
“IKA OF AFRICA. I am greater than the Headies; you’re just whining. ZAZUU. Don’t forget, we have our own Grammy. There’s nothing we desire that God hasn’t already done. Alhamdulillah.”
