Ilorin Emirate Students’ Union Honours UNIABUJA VC, Prof Na’llah

The Ilorin Emirate Students Union National Headquarters has Honoured the Vice Chancellor, University of Abuja, Professor Abdulrasheed Na’allah with an award of excellence for his great enthusiasm and also appreciates the kind gesture, hospitality, advise and accommodation shown to them by union.

The Award was Presented during a courtesy visit yesterday at his office in Abuja.

Meanwhile, during the visit, The union presented three notable point of discourse to the vice chancellor. One of the discourse was the appreciation of his support and guidance offered to Emirates students schooling at the varsity, the second was the request of his power and support to create government appointments to Ilorites who had just completed their undergraduate program so as to find their way into the workforce of the country while the last discourse was on a request to support the national body of the association.

In his reaction, Prof Na’allah welcomed the members of the Union and was delighted that the Association has always taken their students welfarism a priority. The Professor promised make himself available as a helping hand at any point of the requests made and support whenever such needs arise.

He also appreciated the members of the union for good track records of progress made so far in running the union and promised them a better future if not discontinued. The vice chancellor urged the union leadership to embark on development and skills programmes that would benefits its members greatly.

The Ilorin-Born Professor urged the indigenes of the Ilorin schooling in the state to take advantage of his proximity with the institution to build themselves and to contribute to its development.

Conclusively, He enjoined the leadership to ensure that its members schooling in the state are always punctual and committed to learn.
