Ilorin Durbar : Magaji Nda, Abubakar Modibbo win ‘best dressed’ Award

An international relation expert, Aliyu Bolaji Magaji Nda and Abubakar madibbo Sulu gambari have been given the best dressed award in this year’s Ilorin Durbar.
Magaji Nda who made this known in a brief interview with our correspondent expressed delight and profound appreciation to the Durbar Committee for finding him worthy of the award.
He also extend his appreciation to the people of ilorin Emirate for trooping out en mass to grace the cultural event.
He however wished visitors who came from long distance a safe journey to their respective destinations.
Ilorin Emirate Durbar is an annual event that takes place on the second day of Eid-l-Adha (Ileya Festival), at the forecourt of the Emir.
It is a symbol of prestige and royalty that showcases the spectacular horse racing skills of Ilorin Emirate indigenes.
The festival features horse racing, Town storming, cultural display, local music performance and many more funfair activities to spice up the celebration of Eid-l-Adha.
