Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has pledged to ensure justice for the victims of the Nigerian Army airstrikes in the Tudun Biri area.
During a Channels TV interview on Friday, Governor Sani emphasized the government’s commitment to conducting a thorough investigation and holding those responsible for the incident accountable within a specific timeframe.
Acknowledging the government’s responsibility to protect the lives and property of its citizens, Governor Sani stated, “What I can say here is that we, as the government of Kaduna State, will continue to follow the investigation and ensure that everything is done within a timeframe.”
He further detailed the state’s support efforts, mentioning the provision of palliatives to affected families immediately after the incident. Governor Sani highlighted ongoing assistance, such as covering medical bills for those in the hospital and supporting children who lost both parents in the tragedy.
In concluding his remarks, Governor Uba Sani expressed his commitment as the state’s leader to do his best in ensuring justice is served, reiterating the government’s fundamental role in safeguarding the lives and property of the citizens of Kaduna State.
