Ilebaye Receives Yahaya Bello’s Applause for Winning BBNaija All-Stars
Ilebaye triumphed over her fellow housemates to secure the grand prize of N120 million during the show’s finale on Sunday.
Yahaya Bello, the Governor of Kogi state, has extended his congratulations to Ilebaye Odiniya, the victorious contestant of the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) All-Stars reality TV show.
Ilebaye triumphed over her fellow housemates to secure the grand prize of N120 million during the show’s finale on Sunday.
In a statement released on Monday, Governor Bello praised Ilebaye as “a source of pride for Kogi and a genuine trailblazer.”
He remarked that her victory attests to her “dedication, intelligence, and resilience, which distinguished her during her three-month stay in the house.”
The statement continues: “I am thrilled to offer my congratulations to one of our own from Kogi, Ilebaye Odiniya, for emerging as the champion of the Big Brother Naija Allstars Season reality television show. Ilebaye, you are a pioneer and a source of pride for Kogi, having excelled in both academic and social realms. This victory underscores your brilliance, intelligence, and maturity. Your determination, resilience, and grace set you apart during your three-month tenure in the house.”
Governor Bello also described Ilebaye as the “embodiment of a positive revolution in the history of African entertainment.”
Furthermore, he praised the exceptional achievements of Kogi’s young people in various academic and social pursuits, including Oluwabukolami Adeyemi, who recently earned a scholarship for further studies abroad. Adeyemi was the top performer in the 2022 Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge AS Level Examinations.
Bello noted that both Ilebaye and Oluwabukolami serve as sources of inspiration and motivation for youth, not only in Kogi but throughout Nigeria.
