IEYDA Shines as 2023 Ilorin Durbar holds

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) glittered as they participated in the just concluded Ilorin Emirate annual Dubar on 29th of June, 2023.

Ilorin Durbar is an annual festival that takes place on the second day of Eid-l-Adha (Ileya Sallah) at the palace of MaiMartaba, Emir of Ilorin; Alh (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR.

Durbar Celebrations is a symbol of prestige and royalty that showcases the spectacular horse racing skills of Ilorin Emirate indigenes.

The festival features horse racing, Town storming, cultural display, local music performance and many more funfair activities featured to spice up Eid-l-Adha celebration in the capital city of Kwara state.

IEYDA is a social cultural group in Ilorin Emirate, under the auspices of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alh. (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari CFR . The association since it’s over 8 years of existence, has been adding value and supporting the society as well as contributing to the growth and development of Ilorin Emirate.

The association members cut across the communities in the five local governments (Ilorin West, Ilorin South, Ilorin East, Asa and Moro LG) that makes up Ilorin Emirate with their National Secretariat situated at; Aishat Adepate House, Edun street, Ilorin, the kwara state capital.

Earlier during the Durbar, Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA), led by their President; Alh Muhammed Babatunde Salau joined the royal train of the Emir of Ilorin; Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari CFR in his town storming for 2023 Ilorin Emirate Durbar Celebration.
