Renowned singer Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy from the Psquare duo, has expressed his deep concern about the current economic situation in the country, particularly in relation to the rising costs of petroleum products.

He reminisced about a time when he purchased his first car for a modest N120,000. In stark contrast, he now finds himself shelling out a staggering N3 million every month solely for diesel expenses.

Rudeboy has aptly described the prevailing economic conditions as “completely nonsensical,” raising questions about how ordinary citizens are coping with these daunting circumstances.

On his Instagram story, he shared his thoughts, saying, “I once proudly bought my first car for a mere 120k naira, but now, I’m forking out 3 million naira on diesel in just one month. It’s an outrageous situation. One can only imagine the hardships the average person is enduring.”
