I Informed Atiku Before, After Meeting With Tinubu – Bwala Says
Despite his previous criticism of Tinubu, Bwala clarified that supporting the ex-governor of Lagos State doesn’t constitute betrayal.

Daniel Bwala, former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the February 2023 presidential election, has disclosed that he informed Atiku about his meeting with President Bola Tinubu.
Despite his previous criticism of Tinubu, Bwala clarified that supporting the ex-governor of Lagos State doesn’t constitute betrayal.
He dismissed criticism of his shift in allegiance and emphasized the right to change ideologies.
Bwala, who initially left the APC due to disagreement over Tinubu’s choice of running mate, recently declared his support for Tinubu after meeting with the President.
He maintained that his role as Atiku’s spokesperson during the campaign was akin to a salesman promoting a product.
Bwala expressed openness to working with the President in any capacity offered for the benefit of the Nigerian people, while remaining taciturn about his current party affiliation.
