I have over 1000 unreleased songs, Shallipopi reveals
In a strategic move, he integrated nursery rhymes into his latest track ‘Oscroh’ as an experiment to gauge public interest, drawing inspiration from the immense popularity of nursery rhymes as the most streamed videos globally.

Nigerian artist Shallipopi recently revealed in an episode of the Afrobeats Intelligence podcast that he possesses an extensive catalog of over 1000 unreleased songs.
In a strategic move, he integrated nursery rhymes into his latest track ‘Oscroh’ as an experiment to gauge public interest, drawing inspiration from the immense popularity of nursery rhymes as the most streamed videos globally.
Despite facing some criticism for this unconventional approach, Shallipopi expressed satisfaction with achieving his goal of garnering attention and streams.
Emphasizing the diversity in musical preferences, he stated that not everyone needs to appreciate his work as there are numerous artists catering to different tastes. Shallipopi, recognized for his breakthrough single ‘Elon Musk,’ expanded his presence in the music industry by launching his own record label, Plutomania Records, on October 17.
