Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State firmly stated that he has not engaged in any misconduct that would justify impeachment by the Rivers State House of Assembly.

Asserting his commitment to delivering the benefits of democracy to the people of Rivers State, Governor Fubara promised to address the issue in due course.
He assured the public that he would continue working towards providing the promised dividends of democracy and promised to speak further on the matter at an appropriate time during a press briefing.
