I can’t wait to hear Galatasaray fans scream when I score – Osimhen

Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker, has arrived in Istanbul, where he was met with an enthusiastic reception from Galatasaray fans.
The 25-year-old, who is poised to join the Turkish giants on a season-long loan from Napoli, expressed his eagerness to perform for his new club. Speaking to the fans, Osimhen said he is “ready to give [his] best” and looks forward to hearing the passionate Galatasaray supporters chant his name when he scores at the Ali Sami Yen Stadium.
The transfer deal, which was finalized on Monday, includes a clause that allows Galatasaray to pay Osimhen’s full salary during his loan spell, although they are not obligated to buy him at the end of the season.
Additionally, Osimhen successfully negotiated a reduction in his release clause from €130 million to €75 million, making him a more attainable target for future transfer windows.
This move concludes a tumultuous summer for Osimhen, who was previously linked with Chelsea and Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia, but both deals fell through.
Napoli’s decision to exclude him from their squad prompted the loan move, which will soon be officially announced following his medical at Galatasaray.
