How Tinubu encouraged to start refinery – Dangote reveals

After the successful initiation of refined petroleum production at the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Aliko Dangote, President of Dangote Group, expresses gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his visionary support.

Dangote acknowledged Tinubu’s encouragement in undertaking the refinery project, thanking the Federal Government, its agencies, and Nigerians for their belief and support in the face of challenges.

He also extends appreciation to regulatory bodies, highlighting the historic significance of the project that aims to reduce dependence on imported refined products in Nigeria.

Dangote commends Tinubu’s leadership, emphasizes the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders, and notes the refinery’s compliance with international standards.

The facility has received six million barrels of crude oil and aims to release diesel and aviation fuel to the market pending regulatory approvals.

Dangote expressed fulfillment and thanks financial supporters, the Lagos State government, host communities, traditional leaders, and project staff for their contributions to this monumental achievement.
