Wales have sealed qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup after beating Ukraine 1-0 in the playoffs final on Sunday.
The ticket will see Wales appear in their first World Cup since 1958.
The game played in Cardiff was a night of high emotion and drama, with Ukraine having several chances to equalise but were repelled by goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.
According to Ripples Nigeria reports, Wales winning goal came against the run of play as Gareth Bale’s first-half free-kick was inadvertently headed in by Ukraine captain Andriy Yarmolenko.
Since their only other World Cup appearance in 1958, Welsh football history has been littered with tales of near misses.
From Scotland in 1977 and 1985 to Romania in 1993, Wales have stood on the brink of history before – only to stumble at the final hurdle.
The Qatar World Cup is billed to take place between 21 November and 18 December, 2022.
